Payments: Alternative Payment Options
If you find yourself owing taxes on an account and not able to send those funds with the return, options are available to resolve the payment on those accounts. First of all, go ahead and send in your return on time. You will be billed for the tax balance due plus penalty and interest. This bill explains payment options. If you resolve your account within this billing process, no other contact with the Commission is necessary. If you cannot pay your account in full through the billing process, please contact the Compliance - Collections Division of the Oklahoma Tax Commission to set up a suitable payment arrangement.

In the event that the Compliance - Collections Division is unable to get an account resolved or payment arrangement made within an appropriate time period, the account will be referred to a Compliance - Collections agency.
If you are contacted via NCO or Linebarger, Goggan, Blair & Sampson LLC, collection agencies contracted with the Oklahoma Tax Commission, you should respond to such personnel in the same manner you would an OTC representative. These collection agency representatives utilize payment plans, post dated checks and automatic checks to help you reach a balanced account.
