Can I file my Oklahoma personal income tax return electronically?

  • Yes, an Oklahoma full-year resident can prepare and electronically file their current year income tax return. There are several approved tax software programs available for use to calculate and file the Oklahoma tax forms.
  • At this time nonresidents and part-year residents are unable to electronically file their Oklahoma tax returns. Instead a paper form 511NR should be used to file the return.
  • Also, resident, nonresident and part-year resident prior year income tax returns must be filed on paper.
