How Do I: Obtain a Sales Tax Permit?

You may apply for a sales tax permit electronically by completing and filing our Business Registration Packet (Packet A) online at:

http://www.tax.ok.gov/busregonline.html

However, you cannot use this system if you fall into one of the categories below:

• You are an individual owner,
• You need to apply for other tax permits or licenses,
• You want to pay for your registration and/or permits in a way other than ACH Debit, or
• You intend to pay through an international bank account,

If you fall into one of these categories you will need to complete the paper fill-in version of the application on our website, print, and mail it to the Oklahoma Tax Commission. To download this version, please click here.
