Tax Commission's E-Check System Now Accepting New Payment Types
The Oklahoma Tax Commission launched new payment acceptances today allowing taxpayers to pay corporate income taxes and both individual and corporate estimated taxes in the "E-Check" environment. Individual income tax payments have been accepted through "E-Check" since early 2005.
Taxpayers have two payment "paths" to navigate the system. They can choose to "Make a Payment" which will allow them to complete data fields, submit their payment and receive a confirmation screen to print and keep for their records.
The second path is for taxpayers who will be making return visits for further payments. By choosing to "Register with the OTC", taxpayers will enter their information once and choose a "Customer ID". This will allow them to enter the system and have their core information and history retained from visit to visit.
Taxpayers can log into the Oklahoma Tax Commission's website and select the "Payment Options" menu bar to access the link to "E-Check" payments.
